The DJI Mavic Air is an older drone that was released in January 2018. The Mavic Air is a lightweight drone that boasts ultra-clear 4K Ultra HD @ 30 FPS video, can record 1080p at 120 FPS, and its 12mp camera can capture 32mp sphere panoramas.
The Mavic Air supports up to HD video transmission and can resist winds of 29-38 kph making filming in the outdoors more stable.
Due to its weight of 430 grams, the Mavic Air is currently restricted to fly in the A3 subcategory (Flying far from people). Being restricted to the A3 Subcategory means that the drone must only be flown 150 meters away from built-up residential, recreational, or commercial areas, 50 meters away from uninvolved people, and must not be flown over uninvolved people.
